The Relaxed Oesophagus

relaxed oeshophagus

THE RELAXED OESOPHAGUS the day grew tired and gave way to allow the night have fun, a strange harrowing sound tore through the chilled air of 12 ROSTREVOR RD DUBLIN..It was guttural and sounded to an active imagination .It sounded like the tortured demented spirit of some lost soul…. as children huddled under an eider down.. The light would creep across our worn carpet floor…awoken ..lying still this gasping breath from the other side would wrench the most sound of sleepers …awake… dawn gently tucked at our curtain each morning we would hurry about our morning preparations ..breakfast was a hurried affair ..father was absent in the morning and mother on several occasions looked as if in fact may have been originator of these aural abomination …She in truth had the appearance of a  Gollum. … we were sent to a good school where independent thinking was discouraged , and this why the following truths came apparent later in our lives … The 18 yrs years I resided with my family plus familial visits ..The culmination of abrupt awakenings and why our family was visited upon by such a wretched creature …In the manner of Sherlock  Holmes. was the result of…..not our  mother, she in fact shared our torture (the poor woman)..Each night a  rahter large over educated man of dubious descent with blocked sinus and elarged gullet , would roar aided by his relaxed Oesophagus in her face .. This sound then moments later reached us in adjacent bedrooms . through  single glaze windows  to become part of the suburban  night sounds … To help you my reader if ever you wake up in the middle of the night thinking you hear a bath draining. ..uuuuusch….uuuuusch .uuuuusch  uuuuuurgggggg ..uuuuuuulllllrgh…this is that otherworldly sound …. My broken nights sleep these days are from the hollow vacant night and it’s  rude obscene silence …
